Experience how mothers and fathers can both celebrate the journey into parenthood with mocktails, non-toxic toenail painting, alternatives to gift-oriented baby showers, and the mindful celebration of the transition to motherhood known as a Blessingway. The pavilion will also feature seminars and information for today's parents about eco-friendly daycare, healthy homes and more.

An exchange presents a fantastic opportunity to clear out your kid's unwanted or outgrown items without sending them to the waste stream! Sponsored by Portland Green Parenting, this event offers a fun and environmentally-friendly way to update your kid's wardrobe, toy box or bookshelf and help other parents do the same.

When a baby is born, so is a mother. The all day activity gives women the opportunity to talk about this life transition. Women who have experienced all kinds of births come together at the BOLD Red Tent to share joys, sorrows, victories and connect with other moms in an intimate setting. THREE TIMES TO ATTEND: 11 am, 1 pm or 3 pm

Bring a Picnic, Have a Snack, Stay A While!
Peninsula Park has plenty of picnic tables and places to lay out a picnic blanket so bring your own food or stop by the New Seaons Market a few blocks away and plan to have a family picnic. For added convenience we will also have several food vendors on hand serving their delicious meals!
