Colorado Anti - Violence Program

Denver Urban Gardens (DUG) operates and assists with the creation of over 60 metroarea community gardens and small parks. Derailer Bicycle Collective
Derailer is a community-run, free bike shop with an all-volunteer staff offering various services to Denver’s cyclists, including free access to tools, workspace, parts, a bicycle lending library and comprehensive bike skill lessons. Food Bank of Larimer County
Reducing hunger in Larimer County, Colorado through programs that collect, process, store and distribute food to individuals and in cooperation with agencies that serve those in need. Single-parent families, the working poor, senior citizens, youth in crisis, the disabled and the homeless utilize these much needed programs, and nearly half of those served are children. Last year the Food Bank distributed 5 million pounds of donated and surplus food.

Friends of the Poudre
A nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the Cache La Poudre River from the threats of water diversion, mega-reservoirs, ecologically unsound usages, and insensitive development. The member- based organization monitors instream flows and water quality levels to ensure quality of life. Through philanthropic activities reminds users of the river’s historical past while raising support and funding to protect it into the future.

Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Sanctuary

Grow Food Not Lawns is a community-based project aimed at encouraging people to convert lawns to organic food producing gardens.
