Sustainability Statement

We believe environmental sustainability begins with the small parts of life and encourage the reuse and repair of old, well loved garments. This includes repairing clothing to reduce reliance on foreign made garments and preventing the disposal of useful clothing. We seek out materials (such as zippers) from secondhand stores and commute by bike exclusively to reduce our impact on the planet. We encourage members of the community to foster personal empowerment by learning simple sewing techniques for home use.
